Know its in Teignmouth but why on earth was a beach hut sold for £91,000 I thought beach huts were for local people who live in the town to enjoy.
if a beach hut goes for this sort of money then what chance do young people have buying their first home and Teignmouth is a reflection of what goes on in Dawlish

Would you sell your house to the lowest bidder or the highest regardless where they live?
There is nothing to stop anyone from selling a house at below current value but they don't.

Dawlish house prices are a lot lower than many other areas in the south and west. Check out upmystreet.com.

what planet do you come from the areas where houses are more expensive than Devon are on the commuter belt
devon & Cornwall have the most unaffordable housing in the country, its been on the news & in newspapers.

At the end of the day everything is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.
