Our Teignmouth and Dawlish neighbourhood team had a busy weekend!
Friday night saw officers out and about in Dawlish following reports of anti-social behaviour in the town. Whilst there, officers were able to speak with various people in the community and pass some much needed words of advice on what is appropriate behaviour!
On Saturday, officers in plain clothes acting on intelligence stopped and searched a male in Teignmouth who had a significant amount of cash and drugs on him. He is assisting officers with their enquiries.
On Sunday, the team were alerted to two young males in the town who were causing problems and had been seen to shoplift. Officers tracked the males down who unfortunately resisted arrest resulting in one of our officers being assaulted.
These males have been causing significant ASB and criminal issues in Teignmouth and robust steps are being taken to deal with their behaviour.
