Members of the town council were joined by Fairtrade representatives and political figures on September 7 to ask shoppers if they would like the campaign to have a higher profile, with more traders and consumers choosing products that guarantee global farmers a fair price.

Newton Abbott MP talks quite allot of rubbish. Dawlish became a Fairtrade town way back in 2008 and at the time was one of the first in the County to obtain it's status.
