At Dancey-Stevenson's sentencing hearing his family told him they would never be able to forgive him for his actions. Dancey-Stevenson, from Helston but who has for some time resided at Langon Psychiatric Hospital in Dawlish, denied killing his grandmother at her house overnight between May 24 and 25, 2021.
