If you click on this link https://services.pinpointdevon.co.uk/kb5/devon/services/results.page?coverage=9&communitychannel=11_5 and scroll down you should get a list of OFSTED registered childminders in Dawlish and Starcross.  They total 7 in all (am told that one of them based in Starcross - but I don't know which one - no longer offers a child minding service). So we are looking at a grand total of 6/7 childminders in Dawlish, Dawlish Warren and Starcross.

You will need to click on each one for details of what hours in the day they offer, which days of the week and which weeks of the year (eg term time only or school holiday coverage as well.) 

Looks like £5.50plus is the minimum charge per hour per child.     

As it seems there is a shortage of childminders in our area I thought I would put this link on for anyone interested in finding out how to become one. Please point it in the direction of anyone who might be interested.

Update: the three childminders who offer year around child care are: Jacqueline Kay and Louise Jones both in Starcross and Shari-Lynn Lamkin in Dawlish (Warren).

The other child minders offer term time only.
