Recently I received a leaflet from Cllr Martin Wrigley, what really dissappointed me was that the narrative was not accurate. It stated that he had made Network Rail make changes to the sea wall. It is a matter of record that he and the Dawlish Lib Dems voted against the seal wall. The Holcombe issue with network rail was changed because of the results of a consultation that they carried out, from the results of that they changed their plans. The link road he spoke about,, former Cllr John Clatworthy reported before he retired that it was going to come to fruition. DCC have a five year rolling programme at County so many things that get repaired or sorted are done because they are within that rolling programm
The £3.1 millions pound for the green projects was a project applied for by the Climate Change Officer according to the minutes of the TDC. It concerns me that these leaflets are not as factual as they should be and that Dawlish residents are not given the correct information to make the right decisions for Dawlish, although I do appreciate that some people are dedicated to certain political parties and nothing would influence their decision.
@Concerned any chance you could put photos (large enough for us all to read) of the leaflet on here so that we can all see the wording for ourselves.
Thanks
