Public Health England has said the risk to the public from the virus is “very low”, and food standards agencies have said it does not affect the consumption of poultry products

More than 8,000 birds on a breeding centre near the village of Attleborough were culled in a bid to stop the spread of the disease, which has become a serious threat to the country's poultry industry.
