Dawlish Community Hospital will start giving the Covid-19 vaccination on Monday (December 21).
The vaccine does not stop you getting the virus and it does not stop you passing it on. At best, it may, reduce the symptoms. Average age of death from covid 19, from government stats, is currently around 82.5 years with underlying health issues.
Over 99.9 percent of people survive a case of covid, as they do seasonal flu, why on gods green earth would you be injected with a vaccine that has been passed for use to the public under emergency authorisation!
Most have to have a test merely to be aware they have or had it. A test that is woefully inaccurate itself.
Ask yourself the question.....If you havent died in the last 12 months from covid what makes you think you need a vaccine that has been rushed to market in a few months. When normal protocols for vaccines take many years?
I haven't died from covid in the last 12 months because i havent mixed with anyone i havent even seen my kids since March i have isolated myself totally and i for one cant wait to roll up my sleeve, and it's probably time for the powers that be to make it mandatory to recieve the vaccine.
@leatash, did you even read what I said. Sigh the vaccine is going to do little more than nothing to stop you getting and passing on the virus. The new strains will more than likely make the current vaccines less effective than they would have been, if thats possible.
If your reason for self isolating was waiting for a vaccine that makes you immune and unable to pass on the covid virus. Then I would say you are tough out of luck on that one.
