Mayoral Christmas Hamper Nominations

Christmas is a time for giving and thinking of others. This year has been a difficult year with many people isolating and having spent a lot of time on their own. To spread joy in the local parish Cllr Alison Foden the Mayor of Dawlish has decided she will be giving away 20 Christmas Hampers this year. All those receiving the hampers will have been nominated by the public and then be selected by the Mayor in consultation with the Town Clerk*.

  • 10 of the hampers have been allocated for nominations for those over 70 and most vulnerable in the parish and would benefit from this Christmas Cheer.
  • 10 of the hampers have been allocated for nominations for those who have made an outstanding contribution to their community during the Cov-id 19 pandemic.

The Mayor is asking the public to make nominations by completing the nomination form below or a copy can be sent by post by ringing the Town Council offices on 01626 863388.

All nomination forms must be returned by Friday 4th December to: Dawlish Town Council, Manor House, Old Town Street, Dawlish EX7 9AP, or send the form by email, or send an email with the same information as in the form to: townclerk@dawlish.gov.uk

Received applications will be acknowledged and confirmation will be given on whether the nomination has met the criteria and if it has been included on the delivery list. Hampers will be delivered to doorsteps in the week preceding Christmas.
