Only the weather will stop this continuing to open - certainly not COVID 19.
The boot fair this coming Thursday (17th September) will be running as usual.
See below message from organiser's f/book page.
Hi everyone,
Finally it looks like we have some good news!
After speaking with the local council this morning to try to resolve some of the confusion around the new Covid rules it is clear that our events are a business (similarly to street markets etc.) and therefore in no way are affected by the ‘social gathering’ rules.
BOTH THURSDAY CAR BOOT SALES (LYMPSTONE DAWLISH WARREN) WILL BE RUNNING AS NORMAL THIS WEEK!
We are sorry for the confusion of the last few days but as we are sure you will understand things are not straightforward and our only thought was for the health and safety of our customers.
We do ask that people DO NOT crowd around each stall with no more than 6 people stood at any one stall at a time. Social distancing of 2 metres must be adhered too between separate groups. Face masks are also advised, we understand the event is open air but that does not nullify the transmission of Covid-19 so people must keep in mind these rules.
Thank you all very much, we look forward to seeing you all Thursday!
Many thanks,
