8PM CLAP for the NHS
Support the NHS workers relentlesly battling this virus this evening at 8pm by clapping and making noise from your window/balcony/door. This will be a joint venture involving the entire UK. Other countries have already done this and am sure you all believe in the wonderful effort the NHS is doing and deserve this applause! Thursday 26th March 8pm.
Three cheers for all you who made the effort to shout for the NHS at 8pm. We thought we were alone but the street erupted with applause and cheers precisely 8pm. My faith in humanity has been restored!
The NHS are on the front line of this war and deserve our respect.
As to issue with NHS personnel getting shopping. Would it not be possible for hospitals to setup a location on site, say a shipping container as a make shift shop, where supermarkets could deliver stock directly and NHS staff could then pick up on end of shift?
