Barry Parkin moved into its new homes development in Dawlish in September 2017, and claims that when he bought his property, he was assured by Redrow that as soon as all the houses were built the roads and pavements on the estate would be addressed.

After being approached by Devon Live, Redrow have confirmed the resurfacing works will be finished by mid-April.

All they seem interested in is building them as quick as possible and selling them. Chances of anything being completed is slim to none as time goes on, in my opinion.  Poor quality and finish....turds with gold plating is my impression of some of these new housing estates.

 

You only have to watch as the houses go up before all the shoddy work is covered in render, from what I have seen on some of the new estates around Dawlish.

All these tall, narrow houses with lots of stairs - a good bet might be to get shares in stairlifts for people in about 20 years' time.
