A so-called ‘bin tax’ on new-build households will be introduced in Teignbridge from April 1.
From April 1, anyone moving into a new-build house would be charged £80 per property for a full set of containers, which would be the residual waste bin, recycling boxes, food waste container, indoor food caddy and reusable paper sack.
