One passenger claims he was stuck on the unmoving train for over two hours
One man claims he was told the train had broken down "following sea water entering the engine at Dawlish" and was stuck on the train for over two hours.

It sounds like the new GWR trains are just as shite as Crosscountry in stormy weather, two of them broke down in the Dawlish area today. It was never like this with the HSTs.
Ahh, poor didums being stuck on a train.
As for being 'blacked out' to save battery power, it must have broken down at approx 1215 hrs, and at that time, there was plenty of daylight although cloudy and raining, so someone is looking for excess compensation and wanting some publicity, which they have got.
Oh, I got wet when I got out of my car and walked 10 metres from the car park to Sainsburys.
I am so traumertised.
