It is with regret that we have taken the decision to cancel the Saturday Christmas Market. Having reviewed numerous weather forecasts, there is likely to be sustained winds of 24mph and gusts of up to 35-40mph. Inflatables are not allowed to be operated above 25mph and in the interests of vendors and the public alike, the decision has been taken to cancel the market.
We hope to move some of the performances to other venues and will announce this information later today (Friday).
The SUNDAY market is still planned to go ahead as scheduled, as weather conditions are set to improve overnight. A further update on this will be given on Saturday.
