In case people diidnt know.. this is back and leaves Dawlish at 43 pass the hour and from Exeter High Street at 33 pass each hour.

So three buses an hour to Exeter with the service 2.

If they (Stagecoach) decide in the future to cut the service, will it be a matter of,

2B, or not 2B?  cheeky

Not many use it ..about 4 to 6 average ....but be ready for people to 'moan' if it goes!  .Second time it's been tried beyond Exminster.

I am wondering, that because it is not used very much, it maybe because it is a service that is not well known, although when I have been on the 2B it can get quite full by the time it gets to Exminster. I am too old to be bothered to work out the time difference between the 2B and the regular 2 bus journey time between Dawlish and Exeter and maybe it needs more advertising, it is quite an interesting journey.

Well 2B goes through Marsh Barton Industrial Estate where Matalan etc is and up Exeter Fore Street, so you can get off at old BHS or HIgh Street.  It's in addition to the Service 2 every 30 minutes ..of course it will pick up people Exeter bound if the 2 is running late! from Newton...2b is usually on time by starting at Dawlish at 43 mins pass the hour.

Hope that helps!

Caught the 2b back to Dawlish from Exeter bus station this afternoon.

Journey took about an hour.

Quite a few people using it.
