Our emissions are a drop in the ocean compared to China. Why should we even bother?
Because it will all make a difference and we can put pressure on other countries to do the same

If you increase CO2 you start to lose nutrients over time, iron, zinc, protein. Also increasing CO2 for a short time in an enclosing environment is not the same as the environment. When increasing CO2 you would increase nutrients through fertilisers to increase nitrogen which works with CO2 to increase plant growth. Nitrogen isn't that abundant in the environment.

According to the NASA graph the CO2 level has gone up a minute amount since the same time as using direct measurement instead of ice core analysis.
And where is the CO2 measurement taken? On top of a CO2 belching volcano.
So now we all know climate change really isn't happening.
CO2 / greenhouse gases are needed, otherwise we'd all be freezing.
Impossible to measure sea levels, so attributing sea level rise to humans isn't possible.
Conclusion, there is no evidence of climate change caused by humans.

While the UK reduces it's emissions minus those belched out by the airlines and other sectors that are excluded. Russia, China, India, America etc will continue to increase the amount of green house gases they produce.

Why on earth would anyone prefer to use polluting and limited fossil fuels when investment in renewables is leading to much better sustainable energy regardless of global warming?

I am thinking for myself and I don't take the same view as Paul. When I was a youngster, in the summertime the skies would be full of swift's, swallows, house martin's, not any more. When was the last time you heard a cukoo? When was the last time you saw a glow-worm? I don't see slow worm's crawling around as much as I used too. Since the proliferation of the vehicle there must have been billions of trillions of insects of all kinds splattered on the windscreens, although since the reduction in speed limits many now escape sudden death. Some birds of prey are making a slow recovery. When did you last hear a nightingale or see a merlin on the cliffs between Dawlish and Dawlish Warren. There is only one colony of a certain kind of ant which is now protected in an effort to save it. Over developement is the cause of much decline. Have you heard the latest where developers and councils are covering trees with nets to stop birds nesting in them, there are not as many hedgerows as there once were. so birds are trying to find nesting sites. Farmers are now getting worried as the pollinating insects are in decline and they are not getting their crops pollinated, so much of the crops do not mature.
MAN IS MAN"S BIGGEST ENEMY, NOT NATURE, and just like the dineasours, man will become extinct unless measures are taken to deal with the problems now. Scientific evedence is there for all to see it is not scaremongering, it is fact. You cannot see cancer but if you were diagnosed with it, would you say your consultant was trying to scare you?

You don't need scientific evidence (although it does help), Just look around. It is now the end of May, How many swift's, swallow's, sandmartin's, housemartin's, cuckoo's have you seen this year? As I have said, their food has been destroyed and is still being destroyed by pesticides
