MPs should remember they are elected into parliament and can be turfed out just as easily. Cooper is in a rather precarious position, with her constituency voting 70% to leave the EU, she seems to have forgotten that her husband was famously booted out of office as a result of the 2015 election. An awful lot of MPs from both parties will not be seeing the inside of Westminster again after the public have had their say at the next election.
Will Anne Marie -Morris be one of those that will not see the inside of Westminster again. I hope so, but I don't have a say in it.

Well I have heard her quite alot recently and she does not give me that impression. Why doesn't she vote to leave on the deal that T May has given parliament instead of rabbiting on about what is wrong with the deal.

The backstop says that if the border solution between Northern Ireland and Ireland isn't working the UK has to rejoin the EU 'temporarily' to prevent a hard border.
Which means we couldn't really do deals with other countries around the world since the deals would be meaningless and any deal could be broken.
Knowing how anti British the EU is they would pull us in to stop us doing better than the EU in deals.
Really can't accept May's ridiculous deal. Plus, do we really owe £39Billion? I think not.

We should leave with no deal and have no border in Ireland. The UK is ok with that, as is the WTO, only the EU want a border.
The EU have affectively been threating us with problems associated with an Irish border, which shows the EU's true colours.

The backstop is to ensure there is no need for a hard border. Ireland still wants to be in the EU as they see the benefits. You can't just say "We should leave with no deal and have no border in Ireland" it is so much more complex than that. As is leaving with no deal.
It was ridiculous in 2016 to give the people a referendum on this and it's proven over and over that still to be true.
The EU referendum was the only just thing to do. We all hate the EU and have done for decades.

How many of you read the article where a nurse at the RD&E hospital addressed someone as sir. It turned out he is classing him/herself as TRANSGENDER, And complained bitterly to management. The Americans armed forces will only accept the gender you were born with and not the gender you want to be.
@majorp there is a difference between gender and sex. A transgender person doesn't just decide they are a different gender suddenly. It is a struggle for years, hopefully with counselling if needed.
People accept people being born with a genetic condition without question but someone born knowing they are a different gender than what was assigned during fetal development that is hard for people to understand. What is the difference?
When a person is born with the chromosomes of a male or female then that is what they are. No amount of surgery or hormones will change that fact.

Simples, if somebody is born with XY chromosomes they are male, and if they have XX chromosomes they are female.

Everybody stop where you are and think about those that are on the fiddle by declaring "I am a transgender". Males can go into the ladies and females can go into the mens. I have also heard from a reliable source, that NHS RD&E are struggling. They do not want males on female wards, and niether do they want females on male wards. I would say this, look at their birth certificate and if it say's born a male, then it doesn't matter what a trans thinks, he is a male and the same applies the otherway round. The only person that would be offended would be the person that decided, "I am not what I am. People that are visually impaired where a badge declairing what they are, why don't trans people do the same and then everybody would know what they want to be.

I know two trans, one in Exeter and one here in Dawlish. Both in my opinion have mental health problems and should be treated as such. Other people with mental health problems get good treatment.

@majorp a transperson having mental health problems is just as likely as a cisgender individual. That doesn't mean they correlate. Although a transperson may be more susceptible to having mental health issues due to societal pressures and constant discrimination for being who they are.
I am ot biased, it is you that is taking that role. Is there an age limit to becoming a trans? If not, as from today I am changing my gender and becoming a female. I would like to be known as Clemantine and adressed as Ms. I am going to Matalan to get fitted out with female attire and then dress in that attire and walk down the Strand just to see what reactions I get. And then tomorrow I will return to my real gender. That's how easy it is, and I am not insane, I will be playing the game.
