Is everyone else having to sign in every time they come on this site or is it just me? It driving me mad!

Thanks, I did read that thread last week but 8 days on I am still having to sign in every time I come on this site! It is a glitch or bad design? 

Not exactly end of the world to do that lol...

Absolutely not, just a pain in the butt! 

@Margaret Swift, your browser has a lot more say in this area than a website does.

When you say you have to sign in, do you mean you have to enter your email and password? Usually, your browser remembers these and all you have to do is click the submit button.

Also, this site uses cookies to remember you between sessions so check your browser cookie settings.

Thanks for your reply Webmaster, I’ve signed in again for the third time this morning so I can reply to you! Up until last week I didn’t have this problem, nothing’s changed on my systems only the website has changed. I’ll give it a few more days but if the problem persists I will gracefully withdraw! 

I dont find it a problem my browser remembers the details and it's one click.

@Margaret Swift, I've just done an update, so if you try signing in now it should remember you. This goes for everyone too, so you shouldn't have to keep signing in, but you will need to sign in one more time to update your browser cookie.

Oh dear. If people find it so difficult and complain about constantly signing to a website, which must be oh so strenuous and take up so much time in you so busy life, then why come on here?

How do you survive when you switch your computer on in the morning and have to sign in to that?

Do you need a rest and lay down for a while?

It really is amazing what people complain about when there are kids starving in this country and thousands homeless.

I bet they wouldn't mind having to repeatedly sign in to a website if they had a chance.

Some people need to get a life.

@calamari, what a thoroughly unpleasant person you are. Yes it has been a pain in the butt and I wanted to get it sorted and the Webmaster kindly did that for me. I think I was quite polite in my posts and really didn’t deserve your venom. I don’t come on all that often now because of people like you and your nasty uncalled for posts. You tell me to get a life, well, I’d say you are the one who needs to get a life.

As you can see Webmaster, your fix has worked, so thank you for your time and patience.
