I couldn't belive the mention of legal action.  Some people have way too much time on their hands!

And now, according to today's i newspaper, the same people are complaining that they have to look at the gorilla's backside.

Lots of free publicity for Dawlish though.

Don't people realize that gorilla's are a protected species and should be left well alone.

Just watching the One show on BBC1 and guess what!

We were talking to the owner's dad yesterday in Teignmouth and I think the woman is embarrassed.  She wouldn't be interviewed.

(ps) they felt forced to remove the rogue apostrophe from the kiosk too!

Oodles of free publicity for Dawlish though (and for the crazy golf ) 

So keep the gorilla theme and the free publicity going and have a gorilla fancy dress competition or something along those lines.

Lots of suggestions on Eyes of Dawlish thread. Including one that Gary the G should be put on a trailer and lead the carnival parade on Friday.   

Someone on EoD has posted that if Gary is in the parade on Friday that he'd better not go looking in any windows!

I was waiting for a bus at 12:45 and saw it being loaded onto a carnival vehicle, so he could be in the parade. 

Hope Gary has lot's of fun tonight in the parade.

Saw Gary last night. He seemed to enjoying himself.

Does anyone know who the drummers were who were last in the parade. I thought they were great.
