Resurfacing works - seaward carpark - Dawlish Warren. Starts 02.07.18 for two weeks
The contractor, CORMAC Ltd will begin resurfacing works on Monday 2nd July 2018 for a duration of two weeks. All works will be undertaken during day time hours.
Sections of the seaward car park will be closed whilst the works are being carried out. The contractor will keep the loss of spaces to a minimum and will open up sections of the car park where possible. There will be a designated access route to the north car park which will remain open during the works All car parks on the landward side will be fully operational. The contractor will maintain access to all local businesses throughout the works.
Traffic management and pedestrian movements through the bridge tunnel will be maintained and operated by the contractor on a daily basis. There will be two traffic marshals, one stationed at each end of the bridge tunnel, who will be controlling traffic and pedestrian movements to ensure that works are undertaken safely and with minimal disruption.
