There is an official notice on page 61 of this week's Dawlish Post from Devon County Council Highways Department.
From 19/2/18 until (anticipated finish) 9/3/18 between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 traffic will be restricted to travelling at 10mph on the A379 between Warren Road and Elm Grove Road.
This restriction is to allow road resurfacing to take place.
Good! But there maybe problems with traffic looking for alterative route. Elmgrove to Gatehouse, through the lanes and come out at the lower end of Port Road maybe.

Sandy Lane will be closed to vehicles throughout the duration of the works.
If you have a vehicle or vehicles on Exeter Road please remove them whilst the works are in progress (any remaining vehicles may be towed away).
If you live on Exeter Road there maybe times when access to/from your driveway may not be possible.
Works will generally take place between 07:00hrs and 22:00 hours (Monday to Sunday).
