A woman had her static caravan stolen from Willand Road, Cullompton between 6pm 22 Nov and 6 am 23 Nov.
That was 6 days ago and I have just received this through the Devon and Cornwall ALERT system, yes...6 days ago..not much of an alert more of a 'by the way'.
The truck used to take this home had to be quite specific in nature and the experience needed to carry out the theft would require a certain proficiency, I would have thought. I can only assume the home has not been found at this stage.
In an age of so many cctv's by the roadside, in people's car's etc...how could someone get away with this and not be seen?
As to being 'ALERTED' to this, it just highlights the lack of police resources we have down here to react in a timely manner to issues that require their assistance.
