The tom tom drums are telling me another one has resigned.
Anyone else heard anything along similar lines?
Have just checked out the town council website and guess what? One of our councillors is 'missing'.
There should be 6 in central ward.

Why is Graham Price not on the town council website when he is shown as being a councillor in the, presently being delivered, Town Crier?
and is it my eyes or is he also now missing from this list of Teignbridge District Council Conservative councillors.

I wouldn't care a monkey's if they all disappeared, they do no good for anyone as far as I am concerned unless someone outside of the council know's different.
I will await the list of good they have done.
I have many friends who are on bigger council's than a small town council. They know that there are many on the council's that are only interested in the gravey train and that is the ones that officers like. They no nothing and always follow what officers say, so the vote usually goes the way of what officers want, but then if things do go wrong, officers then claim it was what the members wanted. politics is a tough life.
The article in the paper mentions other Cllrs who have resigned during 2017 including Linda and John Petherick who "resigned in April following an alleged dispute with a fellow councillor".

@majorp you may have friends on bigger councils than a small town council, if we didn't have small town councils they bigger councils wouldnt have much to do. they all twiddle thumbs where needed and deal with things that don't need attention like a new playpark or a resturant on tucks plot.
