All great, but should we really be allowing another refreshment facility in the area, let's be fair, those offering teas, coffees and icereams are already struggling the competetion wars.
I see that someone has posted on Eyes Of Dawlish about objecting to this plan!!!
And then you read the comments below the post and realise just how ignorant people are.
This link should take you to TDC's planning page and this planning application concerning Tuck's Plot.
scroll down the page a bit and you should see a link to view documents relating to the planning application. Note the number of objections already lodged.
BTW this planning application went to Dawlish Town Council's planning committee earlier this month and that planning committee is recommending no objections (with a couple of provisos). You can read all comments/objections by clicking on the View Documents link.
Looks like the application will be heard by TDC's planning committee in October or possibly November.
I've just seen someone on Spotlight News moaning about the planned updated shopping centre in Newton Abbot. Did he make me think of the moaning Dawlish stereotype or what? I'm sure it's available on iPlayer for those who know how to access 21st century technology.
This can't be right surely:- "Plans have been submitted to Teignbridge Council to update and renovate the course at Tuck’s Plot which has been running for more than 20 years but has been in need of updating. How long ago was it that there was a masive crater there that now houses the underground sewage holding tank?
Does this safari theme sugestion, mean we are going to get more white elephants in Dawlish? They should have put the cycle path on the other side and left the seating beside of the brook alone. Now all you have in the way of seating on that side of the brook is one, to my mind it is facing the wrong way.
