Hi, excuse my ignorance but does anyone know why we have had the sounds of bells at 9am each morning in the town over the weekend?

The Church in The Strand always used to ring the bells every morning at 0900 but they stopped about 10 years ago nice to hear them again they have been ringing every morning for about 3 weeks.

Many thanks Leatash, I guess as I'm normally working I've only become aware of it as I tried to have bank holiday lie-ins!

I'm guessing it's a recording, not a real bell; do you know, leatash ?

I do believe it's a recording it was years ago so i presume it still is but i didn't hear them this morning.

The 9 o'clock bell rang this morning, first time for months I believe.  Anyone know what's going on ?
