Many of you if not all has at some time shopped in one of the major super markets. Some of you many not care a tinkers cuss about the prices some of them charge for their goods.
You must have seen a tirad of price reductions or buy one get one free. There is a " mysuper market" on line service where any one can compare prices between stores, I have used it for years and it is surprising how much you can save by looking at all of the major stores prices and compare one with another. For sometime now I have noticed that the price given on line is different from the price in store and you have guessed it 'always dearer. Yesterday I went to ASDA NA and the prices that I was told by "mysuper market was different from what ASDA were going to charge me, well I changed my mind after I had a word with ASDA customer services. Just one item I was interested in was 790kg pkt Kellog's cornflakes. I was ready to buy 8 boxes, which would have saved me about £4 against all of the other stores. But no, ASDA price was £2.49 per box and not buy two for £4 as was stated on line.
On my way back home I quite by chance called into "Bargains Galore" Kingsteignton, and low and behold, 790kg box of Kellog's cornflakes just £1.99p per box, what a bargain. I have been in touch with "My supermarket" and they have told me that the prices they provide for all of the stores, is from the individual stores on line price list but "My supermarket puts them all in one place.
