Today is the last day that Brixham Community Hospital will provide X-ray and Minor Injury Unit facilities, while Paignton Community Hospital's last day for these facilities was on Tuesday.
People who sustain an injury may go to their nearest Minor Injury Unit, open 8am to 8pm seven days a week, in Newton Abbot, Totnes or Dawlish. Here they can receive treatment for a range of minor injuries and if necessary have an X-ray. People do not need an appointment to be seen at a MIU.
