Kids in Brunswick Place running ferrel tonight throwing litter every where and making a nuisance of themselves as usual nothing has changed i dont see any success at all.
The police just said the reports had dropped, not the actual anti social behaviour.
We have ASB below our flat most nights going onto the small hours. When the police van or car is there thier shift ends at 10pm. I have spoken to the sector sargeant and emailed him on more than one occaision, he is based in Newton Abbot and also the ASB person with Tiegnbridge council. But the problems start around 11pm untill 2am. If anyone wants the contact information regarding these two persons please pm me.

The problem is that these layabouts and louts have been allowed to annex part of the town centre for so long that it has become a standing joke, hence the 'happy hut' tag. Incidentally, that shelter used to be a great place to sit, relax and look out on the lawn.
When I last visited at Easter, it smelled of urine and there was broken glass everywhere.
Let's hope the drop in anti-social behaviour reports in Dawlish actually reflects a drop in incidents. I fear people have got so used to it that they just can't be bothered reporting it any more.
Police, what police. On a rare ocassion you may see a car skoot through or a couple of pcso's having a nice walk. I must be living in a different Dawlish. I think the celebrations are a little early
I suppose if a group of residents formed a vigilante group and cracked a few skulls, the Police would be here in force.
We need cctv, so we can watch the fight at the Lanny, sounds like we missed a good one.
I believe Dawlish forked out tens of thousands of pounds around the town for the current cctv system, but I believe due to cost restraints! they do not monitor them. They could have them linked to a recording system that could continuosly monitor all camera's. Then if an incident took place the police could access the data from a remote server.
Yes we do have full CCTV but it apparantly is no good after dark and thousands of pounds was forked out but as usual for Dawlish its only half a job.
