Lynne, I guess it Mike Nance's home, since the Statue of Happiness is in the garden and the sign that went with her when she was outside of Dawlish Sainsbury's is in the last photo against the wall.

A good price to make a very nice little gem out of and with a stunning view from the garden. Not so sure about the garden features, I think I would just prefer a few gnomes although not 20feet high. Maybe a foot or two.

@flo - thanks for the link. i think this story sums up the planning dept in a nutshell. a tourist feature good enough to get backing by locals and traders turned down. although numerous major housing developments approved with little, if any, fore thought for access, utilities and infrastructure. way to go tdc planning dept.
