How do I know this, the farm land has been coloured red on the TDC website. No documents yet, but what they propose will be interesting, since the other main sites are in combination asking for over 600 houses. The SANGS table in the Draft Consultation stated 916 houses, but could the new application push the numbers even higher?
As has been pointed out before and by others - if the number of houses that get built here is a moveable feast, and if there has to be a SANGS provision pro rata to the number of houses that get built near to Dawlish Warren and the Exe Estuary then if the number of houses that get built goes higher than that allowed for in the present SANGS calculation then surely there needs to be more SANGS.
@Barbarawils68 can you give a link for the webpage that you are referring to please.
http://gis.teignbridge.gov.uk/TeignbridgePlanningOnline/Map.aspx
Once the documents are loaded onto the Teignbridge system, this will be the direct link
Regarding SANGS, something must be going on if all are now in, maybe a deal has been done to make the temporary ones permanent? They cannot let any building go ahead otherwise. If so Mr Weeks might be off the hook. Soul of Dawlish might know, but as to if he could tell, that is another matter. Anyone know any local gossip on this?
That last link you've given includes a planning app reference (16/00540) which I've just typed into the TDC planning portal and it comes back as nothing found.
Are you saying that 16/00540 will be this planning application's reference number?
It is the site's screening opinion reference, hence ending in SO, it is to do with an Environmental Impact Assessment all major sites need. However, until the documents are uploaded the public will not be access the information, so the link is valid, just not usable yet.
