I had a quick look on the TDC website at the objections that are presently being lodged about this application (ironically one is from an address on one of the new build sites complaining about how this development will cause loss of view of open countryside!)
Are solicitors, when they do searches for buyers on the already existing new build sites, not picking up on the fact that the whole area north west of Secmaton Land (which is presently, but not totally, open farm land) and to the west of the A379 is scheduled to be developed over the next 20 years or so? Because it is.
"At least 860 houses" according to the Teignbridge Local Plan. (please note the 'at least' bit).
