POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a crash which has left a Dawlish man fighting for his life in hospital.
The collision involving a single vehicle happened at around 3pm on Wednesday, June 18 at the junction of Forder Valley and Novorossiysk Road in Plymouth
"With the assistance of paramedics, a member of public and the private ambulance driver, the driver of the vehicle starting breathing again.
"The driver's life was undoubtedly saved by the prompt action of the people involved."
