@HuwMatthews2, you should see it now. The video not appearing problem arises when embedded videos with http links are viewed under https.

@webmaster - thanks for the info. I can see the vid on the site from my pc, but not mobile devices. I have placed the youtube link within the text, above, so hopefully people can see the vid. it's only 9 seconds long, but I think it shows the canage this idiot could have caused!

Have you triend hitting the 'Print Screen' key? I did but on my old steam driven laptop, you couldnt quite make out the reg number.

@Carer - i have used video editing software to identify the reg.  i believe the reg is :- y_ _ _ _ _ _ x, although i could be wrong. other details are visable, but it needs a stronger video editing solution than i have. the original recording was at 1080p, but placing on youtube downe grades the resolution somewhat. the car seemed to be a vauxhall,  green in colour on what would seem to be a vauxhall 5 door estate with roof rack bars and silver hubcaps. i wish i had taken a note of the reg, but i just couldn't believe what was happening. better get some more expensive camera's for the car.

I wonder if s/he was a Firefighter enroute to a shout. Just a thought.

I did wonder that - or Coastguard or Lifeboat. But even if they were, it doesn't excuse the danger they put other road users in driving like that. And I'm pretty sure they're not allowed to break the law like that to get to a shout. Still reckless driving however you look at it.

Well was it?

They didn't cause a problem and are used to getting through traffic like that.

In law they have committed an offence but if my house/business/anyone else's property was on fire or I/my kids/family/anyones nok were drowning I'd hope they'd be forgiven.

My first reaction was 'maniac' (said in a Clarksonesque voice)....but we can all be too quick to make a judgement I suppose.

@HuwMatthews2 - i'm sure the 1000's of people who have had loved ones imjured and killed by the likes of these people do not share your attitude. as to being a member of the coastguard, or fire service, i think they would be the first to condone a reckless act such as this. only emergency services with the appropriate training and vehicles are allowed to perform these types of manoeuvre in extreme circumstances.

The DWP are putting peoples lives at risk everyday, and you are all more concerned with this !!!!

I am concerned with this because I drive on that road as do many members of my family.  Does that mean I'm not concerned with other things?  No!  It just means, on this thread, at this time, I chose to respond about THIS thing.  Did I watch that video and think "oh I cannot be shocked/surprised/outraged or comment about this because roberta might want me to be more concerned about her views on the DWP"?  Errr no, amazingly I didn't!

@roberta - i disagree. i'm inclined to agree with the definition on wikipedia :-

In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtrl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[3]

As relates to your comment 25/06/15 09:14 hrs and your comment that only substantiates my claim at 25/06/15 13:38hrs.

@roberta - i'm very real and like many others on this forum are tired of those who hijack other peoples post for their own distorted pleasure.

I wonder whether the person who posted this video ever established who it was that they caught on camera...?
