Delayed Dawlish sea wall construction completion, possibly June/July!

Walking along the sea wall at Dawlish yesterday. Spoke with the guard on sentry duty who advised that due to strong sea's during the last section of construction of the path/wall. It may not be completed until June/July. Anyone have any other info when it might be completed.
Just want to walk on the old section of beach. Closed Feb 2014 will open when?
