.........look no further for the culprits than our local seagull population. Saw two of 'em land a fish each and then proceed to have a fish lunch on the Lawn. So if two of 'em can do it..........     

How big were the fish, Lynne? There are lots of small fry further upstream towards the Manor where they have plenty of cover. Saw a kingfisher along there the other day.

Don't think they were baby fish unless they were babies of really large fish. I'd say they were each 4/5 inches long. One of these events happened by Gays the other a bit further down stream by Tuck's Plot.

What types of fish are there in the Brook?

Think they are mainly brown trout, although the fishermen among us can probably enlighten us further. Have also seen quite large eels in the Brook but not so many in recent years.
