Octopush the district top junior sports team of the year

DAWLISH-based underwater hockey club TSW Octopush took the junior sports team title at Friday’s Teignbridge Sports Awards.
The club has hit the headlines constantly and has won the Great Britain National Age Group Championships for the eighth successive year.
Four age groups were up for contention – under 12, 14, 16 and 18 – and the juniors won every group.
The club has toured Europe, winning the top Dutch Invitation event beating all the top sides in Holland at every age group.
It included the unbelievable result of TSW Dawlish 8 – Italy 0.
The club provided eight Great Britain junior representatives for the Wold Alternative Games in Wales in August.
