I thought the forum could do with an injection of posativity.
Compared to other districts and considering the budget cuts I think our streets have been kept very clean, our verges cut back quite well and generally the area looks clean & tidy I think sometimes we overlook things when all is going well.
So myself for one would like to say THANK YOU to everyone involved for keeping the place looking nice.
Quite right Andysport we live in a great place and it looks so much better in the sunshine and lots of flowers out and the town is looking good
I also say thank you to all Men and Women that do this work
Well I must be living in another Dawlish in Devon. Bushes growing out of the curbs, rubbish strewn all over the place, public paths looking like jungles. There my be budget cuts at the council, but I'm still paying £2k a year for not a lot. Also, not to forget all the great plans that the councils implement at great tax payer expensive that become white elephants and/or just a complete waste of money. As my old school reports use to say 'could do better'.
