Was over in Teignmouth today and as it was such a lovely day decided to go for a walk. Couldn't walk along the seawall towards Dawlish as it is cordoned off so went up the cliff past the lido and kept going onwards and upwards. Found myself in meadowland. Lovely place with plenty of park benches. Had no idea it was there so looked it up when I got home. This is what I found.

I have lived here for 8 years now. Never heard of this area. So thought I would post about it on here in case others are in blissful ignorance just as I was and who might therefore appreciate the existence of this place being brought to their attention.
Mules Park is great - did you find the Community garden there? And the walk up the dell which is almost tropical jungle!
Only walked through Mules park - had no idea about the other bits of this lovely open area until I got home and looked it up. Next time I am in T'mouth I shall take a look at the other bits. Have already printed off the map given on that link above and it has been put by the front door so that it is to hand for me to take with me when I go to T'mouth next.
Oh well there goes our peaceful walk on a Tuesday night now then = Thanks Lynne
The old quarry at teignmuth is nice as well
