Thought others might like to see this message from Dawlish Museum

" We have just been informed that the D-Day Voyage as per the attached will visit Dawlish next Monday, May Bank Holiday at 10am.  This is not a scheduled visit but as the countrywide tour has been blessed with good weather they are able to fit us into the schedule as requested by John Millin.  It is intended that the replica pipes along with a Piper will come to the Museum and play alongside the original pipes as played by Piper Bill Millin on Sword Beach some 70 years ago. "

Just to bump this up the tree, and remind people who might like to come along

Good idea Michael. Then there will be no excuse for people not seeing your post. LOL.

If you"d like to see (and hear) the visit to the Museum today, please visit

The project is to honour Bill Millin and everyone involved with D Day.   It also raises money to send D Day veterans on visits to Normandy.
