" Citizens Advice Bureau services set to be back on full track in town this year
Wednesday, 30 April 2014
A FULL service Citizens Advice Bureau is making a welcome return to Dawlish this summer after a four-year absence.
Town council finance chiefs have rejuvenated the invaluable social service with a cash injection of £7,000.
The funding, agreed by the town’s finance and general purposes committee on Thursday last week, means Cab will operate in the resort from June 1 on two days a week for the next year.
Financial pressures forced the help group to vacate its offices at the Barton car park in 2010. "
The Town Council has been funding a limited gateway service since 2012. This new funding will see the full service, including appointments with CAB advisors back in the town after a 4 year gap. Good news.
