Broadmeadow leisure centre, Teignmouth, is in turmoil after alleged irregularities involving four members of staff were posted on social media sites.

Now the management team has been changed, and a probe launched by Teignbridge Council, which runs the popular centre, into how and why it was all leaked.

Two staff were said to have been dismissed, one resigned and another moved elsewhere.

The news was briefly published on the centre’s website, and quickly removed. The message was then posted on a local social media site, prompting a flood of comments, several very critical that the news had been made public in such a way.
