Great News. There Is a new webcam going live In 7 days time. Its on dawlishbeach.com but can also be found on Railcam.org.uk when it goes live, but you have to register free there first. I do not know where exactly It Is going to be sited.
Hi all,
Yes, here at Railcam we will be taking a feed from the new Dawlish cam, and after the success of the previous cam we can't wait, and also very thankful for this new location being set up. I believe the countdown is to the launching of the new site, but I am not 100% sure if that is the date the cam will officially launch, but please keep tabs on http://www.dawlishbeach.com for more information. It certainly will make interesting viewing as the rebuilding process goes on, just fingers crossed the worst of the weather is behind you.
as you mentioned @stephen15 we do have a registration policy at http://www.railcam.org.uk which takes a matter of seconds to fill in, and is purly to stop the spammers, we offer cam locations at other sites around the UK including WCML south of Preston. ECML north of Newcastle, Barking, Todmorden & Langley Mill with more cams expected to be going live in the very near future. If you have any interest in the railways then pop along and see us.
As we mentioned before, of thoughts are with you all down there in Dawlish, looking forward to seeing you again soon.
