RESIDENTS of storm-hit Dawlish have rallied to help people evacuated from their seafront homes.
The Dawlish Flood Appeal set up by the town council swelled to more than £6,000 in just 100 hours following an initial £1,000 contribution from the council.
The first payments to affected residents are being issued today. Thanks to the people of Dawlish who have given fantastic support to the fundraising efforts of recent days.
