Anyone else just had their power and or mobile service just go out? Mines just come back on. I'm in the Badlake area.

Well there's a thing OLD FART . We're neighbours. I'll have to put in for  a Council Tax Rebate, with you in close proximity.

Been without power at Ashcombe for about 45mins but it's back on now but my  Ethernet light has disappeard and my conservatories has a small leak. The most worrying thing is the brook has risen 6 feet since 0930 and is now washing away my leaks they should be in Dawlish very shortly so enjoy.

Mistaken identity, sorry .

Well Old Fart and  Elvis Presley we must be quite near neighbours and yes, our power was off. When I rang the helpline the girl said there were no losses in the Dawlish area and to check the fuses, which we did. After a while a girl from Torquay rang and said there were a few properties off and they would send round an engineer. He got here about half an hour later but by that time we were back on again. Hope the same thing doesn't happen on Christmas Day!

Thank you for the info Cassandra, three more during the night here. Looks like us three are in an exclusive club.

Vodafone network came back into operation yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon after being out for a week.
