Are you trying to stir up religious hatred with this post?  I'd withdraw it quickly before this escalates.

It's a shame that USER4549 thinks that it's appropriate to want a religion to be banned!  Whilst it demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of the issues that he/she feels so strongly about, it worries me that many others in the UK might also have the same ill-informed hatred thanks to the hysteria being whipped up by certain sections of the media.

Why should it be removed? its out in the public domain. I have my opinion to which I am entitled, others have a different opinion and thats how it should be.

Contrary to the hysterical media reports that some people fall for hook line and sinker, Angola hasn't banned Islam!

It would be beneficial to wipe ALL religion off this planet. It's all such a con, invented by man. Just because a religion has been around for a long time does not give it any validity.

Religions prey on the weak minded. Protection rackets and loan sharks are banned. Religion should be banned.

@Mrs C, what is your view?

PAUL: That's an interesting perspective and we can only surmise the kind of world we would be living in if there was no religion. I do tend to agree with your point about weak-minded being preyed upon by those in religious authority.

Intolerance of other people's views and beliefs has been very evident on this forum recently.

Bell

(For the deafened)

Summoned by bells,

I was imprisoned

to learn chapters

from the Bible by heart.

Questioning God’s Word

was not on the

school curriculum,

absence from chapel was

noted and punished,

atheism was anathema.

Otherwise powerless,

I repaid despite and

rejection in kind,

ripping pages from my Bible

after each Divinity lesson.

Though ignorant then of its content,

I began with Revelation

as, through knowledge,

I might today but

the echo down the years

of those bells

has taught me

tolerance of others’ beliefs

that I could not learn at school.

I am at one with the world,

scarred as it is

by people,

certain that they, alone,

know the truth.

I thought the following quite funny;;;;;;;;;;;        Up to 10,000 Bulgarians a year will be able to enter England legally from next year. When a sample of them were asked what they thought the biggest challenge would be the unanimous response was, learning the language. A spokesman for the group said.

"I have been told that Urdu can be a hard language to master."

I thought this was quite funny:

A fat racist and a skinny racist jump off a cliff at the same time to see who lands first. Who wins?

Insert the name of any religion in place of racist, and you get the same result.
