Has anyone noticed how dispite the country being bankrupt with all our services being cut and our own people suffering due to mass imigration. Our government can just decide without any discussion to donate £10 million to the Philippenes. Thats £2 million less than the USA and £6 million more tha the whole of the EU. Just one question really

@Fred Bassett.Absolutely agree.The trouble Is International Aid is not ringfenced. I think it shouldnt be and defence should be ringfenced. Actually I thought It was £2.5 million from EU. Thats what I got off SKY news.
The british governement, that being the puppets in power, have no issues in wasting taxpayer's money, because they can always get more. Just like all our foreign energy companies in this country. Taxpayer's never run out of money, do they?
I don't begrudge them it, I'm thankful I'm not digging in piles of rubble for my loved ones.

As usual the point is being missed, its not about being kind or generous with foreign aid. Read the opening question. This country is in debt to the tune of several trillion pounds and has to make cuts to benifits, the NHS, schools, Police, armed forces, etc etc.
So I ask again - WHERE IS CAMERON GETTING THE MONEY FROM

Yes, your point shouts out loud and clear. So the government is choosing to do this at the expense of something else. I tell you again, in this instance I don't mind.
I dont begrudge it, but why are we giving so much more than the other Countries that make up the big 6, I think thats what Fred is trying to get over. We do have to show humanity its awful to see, as 1 women said all we need is food
I have no problem whatsoever with this particular donation, given speedily in a time of extreme crisis.
Some other foreign 'aid' can seem a little dodgy and one can sometimes question the motives and wonder where it's truly going.
But I think we should be proud when our nation can step up and do its bit when needed. And £10m is only a few pence per taxpayer, no great loss for us compared to the lives it will save over there.
As for "own people suffering due to mass imigration", has Fred actually researched the pros and cons of immigration, found that the cons outweigh the pros, and moreover that the deficit is sufficient to be a major cause of suffering to human beings in the UK?
If so, then perhaps he can present his evidence in a structured and orderly manner.
And if not, then perhaps he can stop using such scapegoating and divisive language.
I believe another £30million has been given
Still just a small amount to give when you look at the billions this country spends on health, education and defence. Let alone what we have to give to the EU.

@Oniscus University College London recently published a report on the contribution of immigrants to this country since 2000. In summary:
"Migrants coming to the UK since the year 2000 have been less likely to receive benefits or use social housing than people already living in the country, according to a study that argues the new arrivals have made a net contribution of £25bn to public finances.
People from European Economic Area countries have been the most likely to make a positive contribution, paying about 34% more in taxes than they received in benefits over the 10 years from 2001 to 2011, according to the findings from University College London's migration research unit. Other immigrants paid about 2% more than they received."
