Just interested!

Does anyone know as to why St. Mark's Church, which used to be along Brunswick Place in Dawlish, was closed and demolished?

I'm told by someone (other half) old enough to remember that it was because there wasn't enough use for two CofE churches in town!

Theres a picture of the Church on page 23 of the Gazette today
