Raise the level before you pay tax to £13000, between £13000 and £30000 25% , 30000 to 60000 35% for everybody over that 50%. Make sure these companys who make money in UK pay taxes. Should help a bit

It was never going to be a good idea letting French & German companies own our power business. I agree that all utilities need to be under government control or we are always going to be held to ransom. EDF, EON and all the others need getting rid of. As for the Fracking business the government need to ensure that all the gas recovered is only used for this countries use, not sold off abroad.

I was watching BBC News this morning and they had a discussion about this. A money saving/business type person said that some (all?) of the energy providers already offer price freeze deals - some for as long as until 2017 or so. Consumers just need to shop around to find them. Now, what I don't know is who is eligible for such price deals (only those who have a good credit rating? can pay by Direct Debit? etc). So......not all might be eligible and possibly not those who need such deals the most - the poor.
However, what I am getting at is this. If the big power companies are already offering price freeze deals (albeit not necesarily to all customers) then why is it that they are claiming that by freezing prices for a certain amount of time a Labour government would cause the lights to go out, when they themselves (the power companies) are already offering price freeze deals?
When I looked into signing up to one of these price-freeze deals some time ago I noticed the tariff was higher than the normal price, so a future price increase was being built in upfront. These power companies are not stupid.
Why would anyone support the Labour Party?
They just divide us into people that don’t want to work to receive handouts and the rest of us working with even higher taxes to pay the lazy. - Divide and conquer.
Whereas the Conservative Party want everyone in work pulling their fair share so we can all have lower taxes. - Doing it for yourself.

NO Paul cameron and his cronies are sending this country backwards, just so he and his rich friends can become richer, modern day sheriff of nottingham, tax,tax,tax. everybody but them. It might come as a shock to you but I was better off under Labour even tho it was Blairs party than I am now and I did not claim benefits then or now. Privatising our British Industries under Tories and taking us into EU was the start of all this, and I would love to see us out of all of it. We are not a big country and its about time we brits took it back.

Paul this is a message from somebody Ive known since a child, until 3months ago she had a well paid job and then disaster struck, she had a nervous breakdown, now she is at her lowest I dread to think what she will do, but this is what these barstewards are doing to people, and you tell me to support those people NEVER ( This country stinks, the system stinks! The nicest people I've met today are the volunteers at the Food Bank! Yes, its come to this, that I had to get food from the food bank as I have not a penny to my name!)
