Two men have been arrested after a night time robbery at a Dawlish holiday park.
A member of staff is recovering after he was hit with a sharp object, possibly an axe, in the raid at Golden Sands holiday park, Week Lane, Dawlish Warren at 1am on Tuesday morning.
Police say that up to four raiders wearing balaclavas forced members of staff to open a safe containing a large quantity of cash.
One member of staff was assaulted and sustained a fractured jaw.
A 38 year-old man was arrested in Dawlish on Tuesday afternoon and a 21 year-old man was arrested in the Bristol area in the early hours of Wednesday on suspicion of robbery.
They are currently in custody at Torquay police station.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
